God is good! He’s the source of all things good. We can look to God to be the standard of goodness- the one and only perfect role model. Life can get uncertain and we may waiver in our faith, but it is very important that we keep in mind that God wants to do good things for us and provide good things to us. God is so good that He loves to bless us in order to bring glory to his name and also for us to help in build his kingdom. We are blessed to be a blessing! He even likes to bring good out of seemingly bad things that occur.
“I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. (Genesis 12:2 NIV)
God promises to fill our desire for righteous things. God longs for us to come to him boldly and begin to ask for what ever we are in need of. When God says “I am,” he means that He is whatever we need Him to be at that moment. That is so amazing! Remember that there is no need that we have that our God would think is silly. By developing a personal relationship with Him, we learn that we can be our authentic selves with God, holding nothing back.
Yet the LORD longs to be gracious to you; therefore he will rise up to show you compassion. For the LORD is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him! (Isaiah 30:18)
Action Plan:
Take time alone and really reflect on things that you are most in need of at this time. As those things begin to come to you, go to God in prayer and don’t be afraid to ask him boldly for what you need. Here are some things to keep in mind:
*Ask for whatever it is that you need
*Believe with all your heart that God hears your prayers
*Have unfailing faith that he will answer
*As God begins to fill each need, believe that you will know without a doubt that it is God at work in your life and not just happenstance!
*Be sure to share God’s goodness with others by telling what great things He has done in your life
We can ask our God for anything we are lacking. Some examples of emotional and spiritual needs we may have include healing, peace, hope, joy, wisdom, comfort, clarity of mind, and discernment. We will each have different needs depending on what season of life we are in. As life changes, our needs will change, yet the Lord remains the same though it all. God is good all the time!

Prayer Starter:
Lord, you are marvelous. I have been given many blessings in my life and I am aware that you are the source of them all. Thank you for your love and grace, Father! I long to grow closer to You each day and to become more like you in all that I do. I want to make you smile! Show me when my actions are not of You and when my words do not match Yours.
Wishing you all a great week,
