I started writing devotionals to not only help myself, but to help others in some way through sharing God’s Heart (His intentions; His Word as it says in the Bible; What He desires of us). The content I write then post comes from Him down to me to share with you during my quiet times praying and studying His Word. The devotionals are “tailored “ to what topics He wants me to share with you. I want you to keep in mind that while the composition of these devotionals do reflect my personal writing style, the overall message is His. I’m merely a messenger acting on what the Spirit of God leads me to say and do. God gets all the Glory!
I believe you’re a lot like me: you are multi-faceted; you have many sides to yourself. Being a woman, I’m sure you wear many hats in life, which can be lots of fun and of course bring you joy, but sometimes can feel demanding and leave you feeling stressed, confused, and overwhelmed. You may have had ups and downs, doubts, fears, disappointments, uncertainties, anxieties, and/or other “seasons “ of life where you just need to be reminded of who God is and His great love for us all. Maybe you don’t know the attributes of God, are confused about Christianity, or don’t fully understand when you try to read the Bible. You may be unsure about decisions you need to make and knowing what direction to take as you try to “navigate” through this life. I have certainly been in all of these situations and have felt all of these emotions at some point or another through my own life. One thing’s for sure, and that is that life is forever changing. So, I find comfort in being grounded in what always remains the same: God and His Word.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever! (Hebrews 13:8) CEB
There’s good news, friends! These devotionals are for everyone (myself included), no matter where you are in your walk with God and no matter what condition you’re in at the moment. God is so amazing. He meets us where we are and still says we are “good” (in right standing with Him), regardless of how we feel about ourselves at that time. I desire for you to find comfort in knowing Him, just as I have.
Please let the devotionals serve as a gentle reminder of God’s Heart. I have also been sure to include a Prayer Starter and a few Bible Verses to support the content for further study and understanding of God’s Word. I hope you enjoy! Be sure to share with someone else!
