Happy Thursday, friends and Happy St. Patrick’s Day to you all! I’m sharing a quick, colorful, and perfectly festive treat that I made for my family to enjoy on this day. If you love traditional Rice Krispie treats, then you’ll LOVE this little twist on the classic using Lucky Charms cereal as a substitute for the Rice Krispies cereal! This recipe is super easy to throw together and tastes great using all kinds of cereal varieties …its fun to experiment with them all. Modern White Desks

Modern white desks are extremely popular right now and look very glamorous in a home. As I flipped through the pages of the new Spring 2016 ZGallerie catalog, I was in awe of this beautifully modern and chic white desk with gold detail on the base! Its gorgeous, right?! This makes such a statement!

I have had my eye on some sort of modern and practical white desk since we made our formal dining room (which by the way we have never used as a dining room haha!) into a play space for our little Jacob. In that play space, I’m incorporating a designated workspace that’s all mine! While the Sydney Desk is gorgeous and I adore it, I want something just a little more understated to fit the overall design of the playroom.

I am really loving the modern simplicity of the Josephine Desk. The large drawer is great for tucking away supplies and the X legs make it feel modern. I will be able to make it fancy with fabulous desk accessories 🙂 I have not quite made up my mind on which desk I will go with, but I have been searching for quite some time now and wanted to share some options for modern white desks for any of you that may be on the hunt as well! Toddler Winter Wardrobe Favorites

This winter, we had such fun shopping for Jacob a fun big boy wardrobe! He was starting to grow out of a lot of things and it was definitely time to get some bigger sizes. The main goal I had when looking for things to put together was to build somewhat of a capsule wardrobe for him. This way I could be sure that things were easy to put together in a cinch and that the things we got could be mixed & matched well to make different full outfits. We have been able to continue to use some old pieces that he hasn’t outgrown yet and have been able to add those things with these newer things. With the clothes he has outgrown boxed away and labeled, having only the things that currently fit him and are seasonally appropriate makes it easy to get ready in the mornings, enabling us to go on about our day with no fuss.

For shoes, we chose to go with these adorable boots by Stride Rite that match everything, support him when walking, and keep his feet warm and cozy. I love that they have a memory foam insole so they are really comfy for him. We have been SO happy with them! These Gap Ribbed Tank Bodysuits are a favorite for adding some layers to his outfits. These Emoji Bodysuits have also been great to throw on with joggers or jeans and also to layer up. This hat and mittens set keeps him nice and warm and has little bear ears! Mommy & Toddler Favorites

Well friends…Just like that January is almost over and I now have 1 year old! We had a great Little Lumberjack/Winter “ONE”-derland themed birthday party and a recent 1 year check-up at the Pediatrician! I’m still getting used to it all – five teeth with more on the way, he’s almost walking completely on his own, talking non-stop with a good deal of words in his vocabulary, we are starting the transition from bottles to a straw cup, completely stopping formula, and he is wearing big boy clothes!

The list of new beginnings for us goes on and on and the month seems to have flown by. We have been enjoying using a few items for the past few weeks. Today I’m sharing a range of Mommy & Toddler favorites for the month. Without further ado, let’s get started!
