I have a few baby and mommy favorites to share for today’s post! September is quickly coming to a close and has been a great month for sure. Jacob is growing up way too fast and we have been enjoying lots of things for the entire month. So, I wanted to take some time and share a few of our favorites and why we like them. Take a look!
1.Bright Starts Teethe Me Pal Teether– Jacob is teething and absolutely adores this little blue elephant teether. The design is so clever- it has four legs that mimic baby’s own fingers! He gets hours of soothing relief from this thing. It’s the best $5 ever spent and definitely a favorite baby product of ours! I like how the body of the elephant is easy for his little hands to hold and how it is dishwasher safe.
2.Fisher-Price Superstar Step n’ Play Piano– This bright and fun activity center keeps baby very interested because of the colors and there’s so much to do. With the glider rails he is able to walk/practice walking down the center of the center forwards and backwards. The seat allows him to spin around to all areas front and back, or simply stay stationary and bounce to practice standing while playing with the gadgets. What I love most is that it grows with him so he can continue to use it until he is a toddler, as it converts to have stand and play work stations for older kiddos once the seat is removed. The cute little piano base is fun for him too.
3.Dr. Brown’s Glass 8 Ounce Bottles– These bottles are great and I absolutely love using them! We have been using these since he was a newborn and while I was breastfeeding to allow my husband to also feed him and bond with him using my milk. I love how they are very effective at preventing gas symptoms and discomfort and the glass is very easy to care for. I keep the bottle parts organized in my kitchen by using fun colored storage baskets from The Dollar Tree and it makes the “building a bottle” process you have to do with these so simple! I just throw these in the dishwasher so that all of the parts and their little nooks and crannies get nice and clean.
4.Circo bodysuit– This looks so sporty and the saying on the front is cute. He has been wearing this a lot with the soft terry jeans. The Circo brand bodysuits are great since their sizes are generous, allowing us to get lots of use out of the pieces. I also like that the price point is very affordable for kids clothes without compromising quality.
5.Carter’s French Terry Jeans – the little ‘jeans’ are so cute, functional, and soft. He has been wearing them a ton with everything.
6.Babyganics Mineral-Based Sunscreen – This sunscreen has been working great for us. There’s no harsh smell and it has a good texture. We use it daily for neighborhood walks and it really helped having it on a recent family beach trip. I am a huge fan of Babyganics products!
7.Munchkin Silicone Baby Feeder– This little gem is priceless to me! It is genius! I use it to put homemade purees in for my baby to self-feed whenever I need to do other things around the house. I do like to alternate feeding him with a spoon and some self-feeding time for his development each day. He sits in his highchair with this feeder beside me while I do things around the house. I just refill it once he devours what’s inside 🙂 This makes for such easy feeding and clean up. It comes with a handy cap so you can preload the feeder and throw it in the diaper bag with ease. I find that this also works great on occasions where you don’t want to use or don’t have access to the highchair – it has a handle so baby can sit in your lap and still eat baby food with little to no mess.
8.Fisher-Price Laugh n’ Learn Baby Apps– These apps are great to use. I find them not only to be vibrant and adorable, but very engaging, educational, and developmentally appropriate for my little one.
9.Baby K’Tan Baby Carrier– Jacob loves being close to me and even napping in this carrier. Again, I am a fan of anything that allows me to be hands free and this soft and easy to use carrier allows me to do that. I am able to get a lot done around the house using this for sure. He happily tags along for hours!
10.Carter’s Teether/Feeding Bibs– These are great quality bibs. They have moisture barrier, a snap closure, come in so many cute designs, and wash very well. They are heavy duty and keep him dry and I like how they aren’t noisy or easy for baby to pull off like some others.
11.Crane Ultrasonic Cool Mist Drop Shape Humidifier – This has been great to have to use at night to allow him to sleep comfortably. It looks sleek and works wonderfully.
12. Welcome Fall by Little Scholastic – I have acquired quite a collection of children’s books from my days as a Kindergarten Teacher! This book has been a favorite from Jacob’s Fall themed book basket. The bright and bold colors are appealing to him and its a tactile book, which is a plus. He is at the stage where he loves to touch and feel!
What has your little one been into this month?
