I hope your week is going great! Who else is happy that weekend is just around the corner? The weather is going to be gorgeous and I hope spring weather is here to stay! I don’t have any major plans this weekend, but am looking forward to checking out a huge spring children’s consignment sale Saturday morning, church on Sunday, and of course a little family time with my two favorite boys 🙂
Today, I wanted to share some little things that I have been into lately. I really enjoy it when I read posts on what books, clothing items, tv shows, household items, and more that others have been into. Check out some of my current lifestyle favorites below!
TV
*Younger ( TV Land) | Okay so this has to be the most fun concept for a show that I’ve seen in a long time! It feels very much like a fusion of Sex and The City + The Devil Wears Prada to me. It’s produced by Darren Star, has great fashion, a funny storyline, and lots of laugh-out-loud moments. Hillary Duff does a great job in this role, as well as Sutton Foster. I think any girly girl would love this show so if you’ve never watched, it’s a must!
*The Bachelor (ABC) | Usually I am either hot or cold on watching this show but this season I am SO into it all! I know the overall concept is silly but this is a total guilty pleasure. This season was full of unexpected things and is my favorite out of all of them. I can’t wait to watch the finale! Who do you think Ben will end up with?!
*Fuller House | I’m a child of the 80’s and grew up watching Full House with my sister- anyone else remember loving the TGIF lineup?! We related to the sisters so much and were at the same ages as DJ and Stephanie, so I feel very nostalgic watching the show again 🙂 Many years later, the show picks up with DJ, Stephanie, and Kimmie living together and having fun while raising kids. I have been loving watching Season 1 on Netflix and can’t wait to get to Season 2!
Books
*Cravings by Chrissy Teigen | One of my hobbies is cooking and there is just something about a good cookbook displayed in the kitchen that I love! Chrissy is one of my favorite celebrities and the girl is just hilarious! I was so looking forward to the release of this cookbook for months. All of the yummy looking recipes are said to be easy to make and are made of ingredietns you can easily find at the local grocery store. I have already planned to try out a few of them next week!
*Jesus Calling Devotional By Sarah Young | This devotional has been a great one to have on hand as constant reminders from God. It’s been so uplifting for me lately. Each daily devotion is written just like a personal note from God and this is such a great source of encouragement for each day of the year.
Food Items
*Golden French Toast K-Cups | This French Toast flavor is nothing short of delicious and I’ve been drinking this a bunch for the past few weeks. One of my top 3 favorite coffee flavors ever …. mmm! This pairs nicely with Cinnabon flavored creamer or any simple french vanilla creamer, too.
*Waffle Cookies | Thank you, World Market – now I’m hooked on these. They are not too sweet and still feel light when I want just a little something sweet.
Household
*Woolite Dryer Balls | These have been nice to use instead of traditional dryer sheets while doing the laundry. Jacob thinks they are all his to play with, so I’m constantly having to…
a.) find them because he has stashed them somewhere for later
or
b.) practically pry them from his little cute hands when he “helps” mommy with laundry haha!
They work great at keeping laundry static free and soft! They are great for sensitive skin as well.
*Island Margarita foaming hand soap | This has been a favorite to use, in the kitchen particularly, and smells delightful! It really lingers long after I’m done washing my hands, which I like.
Clothes
*Gap 1969 Denim Jacket | Spring time = Jacket time, and this denim jacket has been perfect to keep me warm enough when the days start off cool, get warmer, then cool off again. It looks so good with just about anything and is such a classic layering staple!
*Joe’s Jeans Honey Bootcut Jeans | I live in jeans 98% of the time so these have been a favorite to wear lately. The darker wash of these makes them easy to dress up when going out, yet they can still be paired with a tee and casual shoes for a different look. They are the softest jeans I own!
