Life Lately: Let’s Catch Up!

Hey friends! Since my last blog update, we have settled well into 2016 around here and there’s been quite a few little things going on. Aside from having a teething AND sick little boy (no fun ugh!), we’ve had some time to get into a pretty good “groove” for the New Year. I know that 2016 is going to be an awesome year and one thing I am really excited about is the fact that I was chosen to receive an Influenster VoxBox for the first time since I started my blog! I have had VoxBox’s in the years past, but this time around it will be fun to have a blog platform to share a review! I’ll let you know my thoughts on the contents after a few weeks of testing out 🙂 I have much more to share today since it’s been quite a while. Grab a warm drink (because its FREEZING out) and let’s chat!

Before we get started: This creamer is amazing if you are looking for a new flavor to try in your warm drink~ I Love this stuff! I’ve been using it a bunch! YUM!

Hey friends! I hope your Christmas was wonderful and your 2016 is off to a great start…mine sure is! I’m so thankful for another year and I am definitely excited about all that this New Year has to offer! For all of us, each New Year brings new personal and professional goals, new priorities, new spiritual goals, and new desires of the heart.

On another note, I cannot believe that I almost have a 1 year old son! Major party prep with a super cute party theme is certainly underway for our little busybody and I do realize it’s been a while since I posted on my blog. Today, I just wanted to stop by and let you know that I will be taking just a short break from posting on my blog because I have a few things coming up that need my extra time and attention. I plan to return with fresh and fun content in about two weeks time! Launching Our Home His Heart just a few short months ago has been so much fun for me! I want to THANK all of you for following and supporting me on this blogging journey. I LOVE reading your comments and THANK YOU for sharing with others and THANKS to all of you for being here! Tons of prep work went into starting this blog and I am constantly looking for ways to better my blog for my readers. Delicious French Toast Bake

French toast has to be one of my favorite breakfast foods-EVER! This French Toast bake is absolutely delicious and takes very little time to prepare, making it perfect for the holidays when we are all so busy and have lots of family and friends around. I’ve been making this one on the weekends for my family for a few years now and love it all year round, and it’s perfect for Christmas Eve or even Christmas Morning. This year, I am making this french toast bake for us to enjoy on Christmas morning – I can’t wait to celebrate Jacob’s 1st Christmas! This recipe does require some simple overnight prep, but that completely pays off when you take the first bite! This can be eaten with or without syrup and it makes a bunch to feed a crowd if needed.
