Promises to us from God can be found in numerous places throughout the Bible. In fact, there are thousands of promises mentioned in the Bible! Part of trusting in God is knowing that He will never break His promises to us. The Bible tells us that God sincerely means what He says and will never let us down.
My covenant I will not break,
Nor alter the word that has gone out of My lips. – Psalm 89:34
Knowing, standing on, and confessing the promises of God can help us all to lead a joy filled and victorious life. Just to name a few, God promises to take care of our day-to-day needs, that we will never lack anything we need, and that He will never leave us. When we make it a point to confess (say) God’s Promises and believe them, our faith is strengthened. By outwardly confessing God’s promises, we demonstrate a great degree of faith, which is pleasing to our Father in Heaven!
Faith can be described as believing confidently in something that we cannot see. Below, I have listed just a few promises of God for some different categories that we all encounter in our lives. Reading these promises and confessing them daily builds our confidence in the Lord and aids in allowing us to know Him more. The Bible contains many more promises, so dig in! You’ll be amazed at how much God loves you and just how much He promises to you!
