Through reading the Bible, it’s clear that God thinks very highly of us. In fact, we are all considered to be God’s masterpiece; His greatest work of art! At times, we have trouble actually seeing ourselves just as God sees us. Many things can come into play that can effect our perception of ourselves and most often things from our past do this. No matter how we feel about ourselves at the moment, we must know that we are absolutely perfect in the Lord’s eyes. The Bible teaches us that God loves us unconditionally. Salvation For All
Salvation is a gift from God, given to us by grace through faith. Among the thousands of promises outlined for us in the Bible, the promise of eternal life can be given to anyone who is born again.
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9)
In order to be born again, a person must follow 4 simple steps:
1. Acknowledge in your heart that Jesus is Lord.
2. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord.
3. Believe that Jesus died for your sins and that He was raised three days later.
4. Repent (change one’s mind) of sins and get baptized in the name of Jesus. [Read more…]
Strength In Weakness
God provides strength in weakness to us. It’s a fact that as human beings, we lack resources and power on our own. The good news is that God is all-powerful and He is mighty! When we feel weak, it is the perfect opportunity to ask God for help! Whenever we call, God shows up eagerly to help us and to reveal things that benefit us, no matter what position we find ourselves in. He is worthy of the highest praise! In the Bible, Paul dealt with feelings of weakness. We are comforted in God’s words to Paul:
My grace is enough for you, because power is made perfect in weakness.”
(2 Corinthians 12:9 CEB)
In the verse above, Jesus mentions that His grace is sufficient for us. Grace is defined as: the free and unmerited favor of God. Grace is something given to us; a gift through faith, not something that we have to earn. God’s gift of grace is enough to help us through any challenge we face in our lives. God has unlimited resources that He makes available to us when we ask for His help. [Read more…]
