God is love. The graphic above perfectly describes Godly love. He demonstrated this great love by giving his only Son to be sacrificed for us: Jesus Christ laid down His life for us at the cross so that we all could have a victorious and beautiful life! He was the ultimate sacrifice: All for YOU and all for ME!

Philippians 4:8 is a thought-provoking verse in the Bible. It reminds us that we must remember to be conscious of our thoughts and also that we must ensure that we are focusing thoughts in the proper direction. Sometimes our minds can wander and get unfocused, causing us to seemingly forget what we know to be true. I’m surely guilty of this. Have you ever felt confused as to what direction to take on a decision that needs to be made in your life? I sure have. When uncertainty sets in, some people tend to worry while others tend to do nothing out of fear of possibly making the wrong choice. Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, made it so that we don’t have to live being worried, confused, or afraid to make choices in life! It is important to know that confusion and fear are not from God. These two emotions are tactics used by the enemy to get us off course by making us distracted from God’s plan for us. God’s nature is to be loving and to make things crystal clear for us so that we take hold of the peace that is available to us and then also live in this peace that only He provides. The plans that He has for all of us are prosperous, hopeful, and positive! We just have to stay close to Him so that we can hear when he gives us guidance in our lives. Knowing what God says about each situation I face helps me in every area of my daily life. His Word will do the same for you! If you really think about it, Biblical principals can be applied to EVERY situation, EVERY activity, and EVERY aspect to our daily lives. This is also how we show others God, as he lives inside of us. One thing I have learned for sure is that a personal relationship with God, knowing His Word, and then applying it to our daily lives is EVERYTHING! We all need to be sure we are are taking the time to learn God’s Word for ourselves, so that we can apply what we learn and know to be true. There are so many resources out there for us to use to do this. Just a few examples are studying The Bible, listening to programs on satellite radio, watching Christian TV programs/setting the DVR, streaming online programs, listening to our favorite Christian music, and even using Bible Apps on our mobile devices (I will list a few of my favorite and recommended resources in a later post ).
