It doesn’t quite feel like here in NC, but summer’s definitely coming to an end. Whenever a new season rolls around, I take time to change out decor around the house, clean and declutter a bunch, and yes, switch up some of the products in my beauty routine!

I love everything about the cooler months, but as much as I love fall, changing temperatures sure can wreak havoc on our beauty routines! With the air slowly getting cooler and a bit harsher, I look for products that nourish and protect my skin. Today I am sharing my top fall beauty essentials to help you prep for the new season!

Body Scrub

Soft skin is good all year round! In the cooler months we have to take that extra step to make our skin the softest it can possibly be. This is where a good body scrub comes into play. It’ll  help to slough off dry skin  to prep your skin for moisturizers and creams.

A Good Moisturizer

A good moisturizer is an absolute MUST in any beauty routine, especially in fall and winter months! In my opinion, the richer, the better.  Nourishing moisturizers keep the skin on my body and the skin on my face happy, healthy, and hydrated. There are so many options when it comes to facial moisturizers that you can find at the drugstore or on your next Target run!

Face Masks

On a chilly night, what could be better than relaxing in cozy pj’s? A super hydrating or detoxifying face mask, of course! I don’t know about you guys, but I tend to mask more in the fall and winter time. I feel like my skin needs some TLC after being exposed to the harsher weather that those seasons bring. I love piling on a nice serum and then a moisturizer after masking to really treat my skin.

New Nail Colors

Now’s the perfect time to whip out the deeper, berry, and some vampy shades. I’m here for it! Nude nail colors also look really sleek for fall and winter. A pretty nail color always looks best with well cared for nails and hands, so well manicured nails  and nice hand cream can make such a difference!

A good moisturizer for the face and body is something we all have to have, but we also need at least one for our lips too ladies! Lips that are too dry really kill any lip look we try to wear, so keeping our lips soft and smooth is key.
