Hunter for Target is Almost Here!

The new collection by Hunter and Target is coming to Target stores and Target.com soon! I can’t think of anyone who doesn’t love a good pair of Wellies! Being a Hunter fan already, hearing about this collaboration was sooo exciting to me! The collection includes men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, accessories, and outdoor goods just in time for spring and summer.

Best part is: prices range from $5 to $80. The designs have finally been revealed, so today I wanted to share a few highlights from the collection! This highly-anticipated collaboration will be available for REDCard Holders April 7, and in stores April 14.

Let’s take a look! Many of the colors are so bright and bold and there’s such a huge selection of goodies to choose from.

Jan Marini Transformation Face Cream Review and Experience

Hey friends, happy Tuesday to you! Hope everyone is doing great as we all prep for springtime … even though it SO doesn’t feel like spring is near anymore for most of us! Today I want to talk a little about a product that I was able to try out recently: Jan Marini Transformation Face Cream. I ended up really enjoying it, and I think many of you will like it too!

In the grand scheme of good skincare, we all know that moisturizer is really important. From my experience, whatever moisturizer I use on my skin can completely wreck my skin, or it can be just what my skin needs!

Skin that is moisturized is balanced. And happy skin helps keep us happy because then we don’t have to deal with excessive oiliness, dullness, or even nasty breakouts! 🙂

Jan Marini Transformation Face Cream

Jan Marini Skin Research is one of those medical grade skincare lines that seems to always get it right. Their ingredients are great for the skin and are top-notch! I currently enjoy using their Clean Zyme Cleanser & Skin Zyme Mask Duo as a treatment for my skin once a week and always get glowing results! The packaging on their products are very fancy and luxe feeling and every product from them that I’ve tried actually does what it says.

In a nutshell, this face cream is nice y’all! It contains the finest ingredients like aloe vera, AHA’s, antioxidants, Hyaluronic acid,Vitamin C and Peptides to improve any visible signs of aging. Over time, skin appears brighter and healthier overall.

When I first tried it on my hand, I was a bit worried that it wouldn’t work for me because it felt a lot heavier at first than the other moisturizers in my collection. I felt like I may end up being a greasy mess after applying it! I gave it a try anyway and once I rubbed it in, I felt no heavy feeling at all! I also notice no oiliness left behind either and best of all …. no breakouts from it, either!

I do use different formulas for daytime, but I see myself continuing to use this as a nighttime moisturizer. I tend to use my richer creams for nighttime skincare, along with facial oils.

All skin types can enjoy using this! Whenever I apply Transformation Face Cream, my skin feels hydrated, it glows, and feels really smooth. It does have a light scent, but nothing too potent and the scent quickly fades.

Happy to add this one to my rotation!

First up was this candle by Anderson Lilley’s Sunset Collection in the scent “Super Bloom.” The simple copper packaging on this one is pretty and will match décor on my desk or in our family room. Smells Devine!

This delicate rose gold “love” bracelet by Maya Brenner will go well with a lot of spring and summer looks and will be good for everyday wear. It’s very well made and comes with a nice dust bag to store it. Also, this fun reversible clutch by Rachel Palley ($60 value) is so cute for spring! How good would this look with a fresh white flowy top and some wedges?

Next up, there’s a cooling leather eye mask by Free People x Understated Leather with the cutest star pattern! This mask sells for $40 and is just adorable! There’s a removable gel insert that can be refrigerated to relax and unwind after a long day or can be taken when traveling.

I was also happy to see an ISH lip kit that is a collab with Alex Garza from YouTube! There’s 12 pretty shades of cream lipsticks. The shades work for all skin tones and great for warmer weather.

Nail treatments are always nice, so this one by Dermelect Cosmeceuticals will really help fill in ridges and add a natural hint of color to nails. There’s even a 20% off at Ulta coupon inside the polish box! I’ve been seeing this line of body polishes by Dove in stores lately, so I was happy to see this travel size in my box!

Working out means occasional sore muscles, so this massage roller by Physique 57 came right on time!

It’s nice and light, and made to be gentle on all skin types, even acne-prone. The sleek packaging makes it perfect to add to my travel toilitries bag.

A rich and tropical-smelling body butter? Yes, please! This one by Korres is so light and fresh and I like that it absorbs easily without being greasy.

If you’re anything like me, you’ve been a little curious about using essential oils, wondering if they are even worth trying out. Well, one resolution I made for the new year is to use essential oils in my home and in daily life with my family whenever I can (even while out and about with my son.) Keep reading to find out some tips for newbie’s (like myself), plus some really cool aromatherapy accessories that have all helped me to get started!

I picked up a few bottles of essential oils to get started and a good diffuser. The wood-look of this one matches decor and the fact that the light changes color as you diffuse is nice! There’s even a subtle “waterfall” sound effect to add to the Zen effect.

I chose not to invest in the more expensive oil brands and accessories right away. My thought process was once I tried them out and if I liked them, I’d want to invest a little more as time goes on!

It’s so simple to diffuse! All you need is your favorite oils, a diffuser, and water. These 3 are a few of my go to’s :

Lemon makes the house smell amazing while cleaning up and energizes me to get the job done!
Clary sage helps to keep hormones balanced and much more!
Eucalyptus is fresh and is great for spa-nights at home.

As far as blends go, I have turned to good ol’ Pinterest for ideas. Check out what blends and other tips I’m pinning 🙂 Blending lemon, rosemary, and lavender is dreamy!

Essential oils are great for the whole family! When I first started using oils my son was a stuffy and had a cold. Loads of fun, right? Moms, I know you can relate! I grabbed the Eucalyptus oil and started diffusing that to give him some releif.

I had read that it’s great for congestion and colds. I used a kid-safe amount based on his age and ….IT REALLY WORKED, no harsh medications needed.

Now, at almost 3 months in, I’m beginning to look into ways to use oils in cleaning our home, as well use for other health benefits for my family, too!

With so much info out there, my best advice is to research as much as you can and invest in high quality oils from trusted sources. There are so many essential oils and even more combinations you can make! If you’re interested in using oils, one tip I have is to be sure to look into ways to safely use them to fit the needs of your family first! You want to be sure you are getting pure oils. Always follow directions carefully as far as diluting, using with kids, and applying to the skin only with a carrier oil!

Here are a few must-have essential oils to get started with, as well as some quick benefits of each:
